The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near stores, supermarkets, and restaurants, and it’s just steps from the beach. The on-site spa is definitely worth the money.

We stayed 2 days at family room with sea view. There are many activities for children and it was really fun for our kids. Beach is directly from property and it was very convenient to us. One assistant person for us to help and connected by WeChat and it was really good. Some activities can’t use it and time is too tight. I recommended if you are planning to visit there and it needs at least 3 days then can explore everything.

Not too many things. It is not related to this resort and related to booking.com. When I did my reservation, it is included breakfast at booking.com. However, it is only afternoon tea, so need to check again before your reservation with booking.com.

Nice room, excellent location, extraordinary facilities

No table tennis, no billiards, no fitness room

The hotel has nice facilities for the families with kids: pools, slides. The new room is new indeed and has a washing machine, heated drying rack in the bath. The location is close to restaurants though the food there is so so. The gym is old but functional.

If you are not Chinese you probably come to the hotel on the beach to relax on a sun bed and swim next to the hotel. However, swimming was not allowed all the days I stayed there. You should go 15 min to the beach of Sheraton hotel to swim. There are no restrictions there and the waves are bigger. So it is better to stay in Sheraton. Although you cannot swim at Horizon beach, all kind of paid activities are allowed. It means that if you get an expensive room with a sea view and you will wake up with a constant noise from jet skis. Coconuts sold in the hotel were expensive and not fresh. Greed will kill the people.

The hotel facilities are incredible, it's a very well located and beautiful hotel. But very bad managed, this people need to learn that you can't have something great just using money to construct a beautiful place. You need much more than this!

This is the worst hotel I stayed in years. Worst than many 3 start hotels. After enter my room I saw a lot of water and sand in the floor, I had to call the manager to fix the dirty room! The swimming pools are great, but closes very very very early and has a lot of rude lifesaver around that complains with everything. For example, the nice dive swimming pool are open for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and to make things worst the staff get late to open but are in a rush to close it. The breakfast is just Chinese food with some few western options, not what we expect from a hotel of this level. The staff can't understand one single word in English, neither the basic things like where is the toilet? The water slides are great, but they put so many rules that I could not use. I have 110kg one I was too heavy, for the other my soon was too little, no fun. The beach is beautiful, but during my stay there was neither one single moment that they allowed me to swim. They told it was too dangerous, so I send a photo to the manager with almost no waves, so they told it's because coronavirus, but the sand and the swimming pools were crowded with guests, so It's just a no sense excuse. I tried to walk away from the lifesaver to swim, but the sand is in a big decline to the water, so not comfortable to walk in the sand in that beach area. Also a lot of water motor vehicles, so I ended giving up to swim. At night I went with my soon to see some sea animal in the sand and relax in front of the sea and the hotel security keep pointing a very powerful flashlight to us and making signs asking us to go back inside the hotel. This hotel is managed like a Army. I ended up moving to another hotel that was cheaper, better and didn't have any of this problems, I could swim in the beach, use the swimming pool until 22:30, used all water slides with my soon and the room was clean.

Fantastic resort with absolutely amazing staff who cater to the clients for an amazing vacation. William the manager goes out of his way to take care of his guests along with his wonderful staff. Great hot pot and bbq dinners at the resort. You can also go across the street for local Chinese (and Western food). Supermarket there as well.

Breakfast and the pool can be super busy...lots of small small kids.

You could work on having more possibility of western style cuisine like salads /pasta/meat and fish with garnishes.

The garden, pool and beach were really nice. Especially the trees at the pool are beautiful. The location close to shops and restaurants is convenient.

Don’t understand why this hotel is the only one without English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet is a mess what basically is due to the guests: no rules, no discipline, no respect. Teaching children military habits is not only wired, it’s absolutely stupid, that had nothing to do with culture.

We had a great time. The Hotel staff was very kind especially Yan who helped us a lot with the booking and having our stay convenient. Pool area for kids is amazing.

The beach was the only redeeming part of the property. Otherwise, from start to finish, our stay was so bad that we left early and booked a different hotel.

The restaurants advertised Western food, but didn't offer any. The facilities show beautiful photos of the property: the landscaping was pretty, but all of the facilities were focused specifically on children. It's not just that the resort would be good for families: it's ONLY for families. Children were running rampant all over the hotel, and any and all activities and decor were geared toward children. The staff were not helpful when it came to answering questions, and especially not helpful when I tried to leave: our stay was so bad that we left and booked elsewhere.

Place is great if you travel with kids. A lot of fun for them. I couldn't use the pools because of the weather, however there were several for any age. This hotel is like a huge playground for kids :)

The hotel really need staff who can speak English! You can not pretend to receive foreigners if your staff is not prepared for that. Although, most of them were very helpful when we needed it.

Excellent facilities, clean and well organized, lots of attractions for children. Very nice room. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Beautiful, clean beach. Good choice of pools, some heated. Good food. Ideal place for a family holiday.

Welcome to the biggest kindergarten. The total hotel is a big playground and it´s a perfect place for kids till 6 years age. You will have many different animals, playgrounds, entertainment, many different pool, sweets and so on. But don´t go there for relaxing. Due to the customers and entertainment it a very noisy place. Also the room is very noisy. From outside, corridor, above and the neighbors you can hear everything. Room and hotel look a bit old, but everything is well maintained and clean. Room fits to the category. So everything you expect you find. But I really hate having the shower in the bath tube. The big breakfast room I didn´t like - too many people and noisy and I had to queue twice to get a seat. Therefore the variety of food is nice - also for western dishes. Best place was my big balcony with a nice sun bed. Beach is good (for China) and the location of the hotel is also very nice to go out. I would say the best location in Yalong bay. Staff friendly - but of course no English. Hotel offers cheap transfer to the airport.

Due to the customers and entertainment it a very noisy place. Also the room is very noisy. From outside, corridor, above and the neighbors you can hear everything. Really thin walls....
